In my hometown, there is a program for highschool kids, where they are given the opportunity to spend one semester of school learning media production skills. It was last helmed by a very odd and untalented man. Before that, it was helmed by a very odd but talented man.

This man had a belief - if you entered the programme, and you had The Idea, the ultimate film idea that you wanted to spend the entire semester working on, you woulodn't end up getting anything done. You can't spend all of your time working on one project, and throw everything into it. You won't finish it, and it will suck your time from anything els eyou're working on.

You have to kill the baby.

The summer or '22, I didn't do any of the artistic things I wanted to do. Lots of things happened. And maybe one day, the baby (titled Call Me), will be released. Until then, I need to keep moving forward. You can't get so attachted to an idea that you can do nothing else.

This album is my rebirth.
